Poverty is feminine

Single mothers, who are raising their kids in a slum in Blantyre, Malawi, Africa. In this area many men are suffering from addictions (alcohol, drugs …) others are in prison. Out of those reasons a high percentage of the husbands and fathers have abandoned their families. So these women are raising their kids on their own - trying to support each other under extremely rough circumstances.
