Ana Maria

Ana Maria has worked hard all her life — as a caregiver, housekeeper, and factory worker. Originally from Peru, she lived in Madrid for many years before moving to Germany. There, she was initially housed in a homeless shelter. Her family and her faith mean a great deal to her. Today, one of her three daughters and her grandchild live in Hamburg. She hopes for more political support for all families experiencing homelessness — regardless of their social or cultural background. For her, having a home of her own is the most important thing.
