Chris used hard drugs for more than 40 years and spent a long time in prison. While there, he made a vow to stay clean — and he kept it. He is very proud of this today. His time of homelessness was marked by a constant fear of being robbed, betrayed, or even killed. It is a fear that many people experiencing homelessness still describe.
