I got to know life on the streets when I was 14 — and it’s been a part of me ever since.”

Before moving into his apartment, Danny spent six years wandering through Spain. He describes himself as a nomad. He needed that time to process his past, having experienced severe rejection in his childhood home. Danny dreams of owning a small piece of land with a cabin in Spain.

He has now come a step closer to that dream: shortly after the photo shoot, he gave up his apartment to head for Fuerteventura on foot with his dog to start a new life. Surprisingly, however, his journey led him to Portugal — where he lives today.
