Heiko

Heiko was in and out of prison for minor offenses and lived on the streets for more than five years. He describes this time as the most stressful and difficult period of his life. Yet he has managed to break free—from drugs, from alcohol, and from the streets. His dog plays an important part in that journey.

Heiko criticises the fact that people today can still end up in prison for fare evasion. He joins demonstrations to raise awareness of the issue.
